Robi has launched free internet service to 100
taxis and 100 buses to enable internet data
access using wifi hotspots across the whole
bangladesh. State Minister for Posts and
Telecommunications Division, Begum Tarana
Halim inaugurated the launching event as the
chief guest at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel in
the town on tuesday.
Over the next 6 months, the company is going to supply high speed wifi
service in five hundred prime restaurants, cafes
and retail outlets, one hundred educational
institutions, ten public places (railway stations
and airports) and over three hundred and fifty
taxis, buses and trains.
Robi users who have purchased a mobile
internet pack of at least 1 GB would be ready
to access free allowance of wifi quota. Within
the taxis, buses and trains, wifi will be out
there to all users with wifi enabled devices.
Within the future, Robi will provide numerous
net data bundles with wifi quotas. Robi

CCPO (Chief Company & People Officer) Matiul
Islam Nowshad along with variety of high
officials of the corporate were additionally
present on the occasion.
